Chelsea leads fundraising and outreach efforts for Small Talk, coming to her position after four years of experience fundraising for local and statewide NPR and PBS brands. In a previous life, she worked as a mandated reporter where she become passionate about both child protection and social justice. She is a newly certified ACEs Master Trainer with the MiACE Initiative. 

Chelsea loves working with the wide, grassroots network of Small Talk supporters who share our powerful vision of a community where children are safe from abuse. In addition to working with individual, corporate, and foundation donors who are committed to realizing this vision, Chelsea maintains the website and is the administrator for Small Talk's social media presence. She practices principles from both Community Centric Fundraising (CCF) and "Fundraising for Social Change" as outlined by Kim Klein and is interested in connected with like-minded fundraisers and organizers.  

Chelsea grew up in Meridian Township. She joined Small Talk in 2020.
