Free to Be Me: Strength and Resilience Group for Teen Girls. This 5-week group is open to teen girls ages 13-18 who have been involved in Small Talk services (forensic interviews, individual/group counseling). Group activities, art projects, and discussion will focus on identifying and celebrating individual strengths and using them to promote growth, resilience, and healing. Superhero Training Academy. Calling all Superheroes! This 5-week counseling group uses art and play therapy activities to teach real-life superpowers just for kids. Kids learn coping skills, self esteem, and relaxation techniques in an engaging group setting. This Cogitative Behavioral Therapy-based group will focus on confidence and coping skills for kids ages 7-10. Topics include: identifying emotions; coping skills for anxiety, anger, and other big feelings; problem solving activities; yoga and relaxation games for kids.
