Mark Koerner

Mark Koerner is an attorney with Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. He is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University. Mark received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Law in Information Technology from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2000.
Mark began his career in Illinois litigating many high-profile cases in both state and federal courts. He returned to his hometown of Haslett, Michigan in 2004, continuing to represent a diverse range of clients at all levels of the courts.
Today, Mark’s focus in litigation, combined with his experience in numerous aspects of the law, allows him to provide a wide variety of legal services including: business and corporate law; employment and labor law; transit, drain and municipal law; information technology and privacy law; domestic law; criminal law; and general and commercial litigation. Mark is licensed to practice in all Michigan courts and has appeared before both the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court. He also maintains his license in Illinois. He is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Illinois, as well as the Ingham County Bar Association.
Mark and his wife, Catherine, live in Haslett and have three children, Jacob, Cole and Peyton.
